It has been quite a while since we had the <strong>Z18<\/strong> in <strong>ABTEC1<\/strong> and since then we have been looking for the perfect <strong>Sub-Woofer<\/strong> to refine the sound, after trying a few different set-ups <strong>Ashley \u2018MAD BASS\u2019 Burrell<\/strong> mentioned trying the <strong>Z12<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/hifihq.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/DD-Z12-3.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/hifihq.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/DD-Z12-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-306\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hifihq.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/DD-Z12-3.jpg 600w, https:\/\/hifihq.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/DD-Z12-3-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/hifihq.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/DD-Z12-3-360x240.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ashley<\/strong> didn\u2019t have to mention it twice as already being&nbsp;<strong>DD-Z<\/strong> crazy I thought it was the best idea I had heard all year, the next week felt like a year waiting for the Z12 box to be built and&nbsp;upholstered but was well worth the wait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sound that came out of the <strong>Z12<\/strong> was just amazing, also keep in mind before the <strong>Z12<\/strong> I was running four <strong>DD Audio 512\u2019s<\/strong>. I know these two series of <strong>Sub-Woofers<\/strong> are worlds apart but in saying that I went from four <strong>Sub-Woofers<\/strong> to only one!
