Remove the platter first, then remove the\nturntable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Setting up the\nturntable<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mounting the platter: Carefully\nplace the platter onto the motor axis (do not tilt)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Removing transportation\nlocks: Remove the transportation locks from the tonearm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mounting the\ncounterweight: Screw the counterweight onto the tonearm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mounting the pick-up\nsystem: Screw the cartridge onto the tonearm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Horizontal alignment and\nfeet adjustment: Align the turntable via app or bubble level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Horizontal alignment\nand feet adjustment: By turning the feet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Balancing the tonearm: Remove\nneedle cover and balance the tonearm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Setting scale to zero: Set\nadjustment scale to zero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adjusting stylus force\/antiscating:\nSet the stylus force and the antiscating to the same value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mounting the cover: Slide\nthe hinges into the slots of the cover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mounting the cover: Slide\nthe hinges into the recesses and fix the cover to the turntable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Connection to amplifier:\nConnect cinch cable and ground cable to the MTT 990 as well as to the MM input\nof the amplifier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Connection to power\nsupply: Connect the MTT 990 to the power supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Switching on: Operate\nON\/OFF switch of the MTT 990.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Switching on amplifier:\nSelect MM input on the amplifier (for original or MM systems).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Turning on motor: Select\nspeed, eg. 33 1\/3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enjoying your MTT 990: Unlock\nthe tonearm, lift tonearm, move it towards the vinyl and lower it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MTT 990: Setting up a\npick-up system for the version without cartridge or upgrades <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Observe the operating\ninstructions of the MTT 990 and of the cartridge supplier!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mounting cartridge onto\nthe headshell: Observe assembly instructions of the cartridge supplier!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adjusting the tonearm\nheight: Goal: Align the tonearm parallel to the platter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unlocking the tonearm\nbase: Goal: Align the tonearm parallel to the platter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Height adjustment of\nthe tonearm base: Goal: Align the tonearm parallel to the platter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Checking the tonearm\nalignment: Align the tonearm parallel to the platter (with tonearm lowered).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Locking the tonearm base:\nGoal: Align the tonearm parallel to the platter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adjusting the pick-up\nsystem: We recommend using a Sch\u00f6n template for the adjustment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Height adjustment of tonearm\nlift: Goal: 8-12 mm distance between needle and platter with tonearm lift\nraised.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Arrival: Turntable MTT 990 has arrived.
