Dynavoice Definition Floorstanding Speakers - Designed & Engineered in Sweden
Overview
The latest evolution of our flagship speakers – delivering power, precision, and pure performance.
Good can always be better.
The DF-8II is an evolution of our most powerful floor-standing speaker—designed to deliver an expansive soundstage, deeper bass, and higher precision across the entire frequency range.
With dual 8-inch Kevlar bass drivers, an upgraded 6.5-inch midrange, and a combination of soft dome and ribbon tweeters, the DF-8II reproduces sound with exceptional dynamics and detail.
Enhanced materials and components elevate the audio to a new level. The bass and midrange drivers feature new NBR rubber surrounds, replacing previous foam to provide better damping, increased durability, and more precise cone movement. The diaphragms in both the bass and midrange are treated with resin powder, further increasing stiffness and improving the reproduction of fast transients.
We don't fine-tune for the sake of numbers. Every upgrade in the DF-8II is a step closer to a more natural, powerful, and engaging sound—a philosophy deeply rooted in our Nordic DNA.
The massive, internally braced cabinet is built to minimize resonances, ensuring tight, controlled bass and powerful performance. The speaker's more robust Y30-grade ferrite magnet has an increased diameter from 98 mm to 109 mm, along with a 20% weight increase compared to previous generation Definition speakers, providing more control and impact in the lowest frequencies. The bi-wire terminal allows for separate connections for the tweeter and bass/midrange, while X-change enables fine-tuning of the midrange in four levels.
