A total of six different digital and analogue sources, high-class drivers and an classy yet sturdy housing as well as a powerful class-D amplifier featuring 2 x 400 Watt – the latest addition to the Magnat portfolio leaves no wishes unanswered. All these features come in an extremely compact shelf-speaker format.

The Magnat MULTI MONITOR 220 is here to combine different virtues of high-class audio reproduction. The compact speaker comes in a handy shelf-speaker format, yet it provides classic HiFi as well as modern music streaming technology: The high-class active stereo set offers a phono pre-amp for MM record players, Bluetooth® including aptX and several digital and analogue inputs. This way the beloved vinyl collection can have its time as well as high-resolution digital music – wirelessly from the smartphone or tablet, or other sources.

Multiple inputs including Bluetooth® aptX and phono pre-amp
The Magnat MULTI MONITOR offers not less than six different options to interface with different source devices: Audiophile listeners will enjoy the integrated phono pre-amp for MM systems which can be activated when connecting record players to the Cinch input. This way the vinyl collection will unfold its full potential on this powerful stereo system. The reproduction of digital sound is equally precise with the MULTI MONITOR 220: Bluetooth® including aptX guarantees perfect quality when streaming ones music. Additional cable-bound inputs like a 3.5 mm jack connection and two digital inputs (optical and coax) are available on the backside of the MULTI MONITOR 220. Users can easily change the source with the included remote control.

High-class chassis for a precise and dynamic sound
The MULTI MONITOR 220 renders digital signals at up to 192 kHz/24 Bit. To make sure this outstanding quality can be fully reproduced by the speakers, Magnat uses only high-class components for the MULTI MONITOR 220. The optimized 25 mm fmax Tweeter is a special Magnat development and uses a powerful ferrite magnet to play equally precise and dynamic. The midrange driver is a FE-Dynamics chassis with ceramic aluminium cone and low-distortion magnet system. This way, the compact shelf speaker system is able to cover an impressive frequency range of 35 to 40.000 Hertz. Thanks to the sub-out connection, an optional subwoofer can be connected any time for even more base.

Lavishly sized class-D amplifier
The Magnat MULTI MONITOR 220 is equipped with a powerful 2 x 40 Watt (RMS) class-D amplifier. The module, containing all connections, is part of the right side speaker. This way the stereo set does not need an extra amplifier or receiver but only a power source. An additional advantage of this construction is the fact that all components have been perfectly matched with each other. The connection between the right and the left side speaker is established via a classic speaker cable (included in the scope of delivery). High-class, gold-plated speaker terminals ensure the perfect signal quality of this connection.

Classy, low-feedback housing featuring Airflex-Ports
The high-class technology and precisely working chassis find a worthy home in an extremely stable, low-feedback housing made of E1-MDF wood. The white diaphragm of the midrange chassis provides a beautiful contrast to the front plate which comes in matte black. Those who are looking for a more decent apparel will probably use the plain black front covers made of acoustic cloth which are securely kept in place by small yet powerful magnets.
Inside each speaker an Airflex-port with rounded exits is in charge of providing additional base without any flow generated noise. Last but not least the system will find a safe and acoustically optimized stand on its integrated, resonance dampening rubber feet.
